Nut-free ice cream for ice-cream nuts

We’ve got a bone to pick with whoever decided to put nuts in ice cream. Don’t get us wrong, we love creamy peanut butter just as much as the next guy. But, we are of the opinion (it’s unpopular, we know) that putting nuts in ice cream is a crime against dairy dessert.  This is why Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream makes only nut-free ice cream.
If we haven’t lost you yet, stick around to hear us out, because we’re pretty sure you’ll come to agree that nut-free ice cream is the only way to go. Think about it. Peanut butter is delicious: rich, creamy, and packed full of flavor… so much so that it’s overpowering. Put peanut butter in anything, and it’s all you taste. Now, if you had the world’s best, gourmet ice cream, why would you need a spoonful of overpowering peanut butter or any nut? Our ice cream is so good, we don’t need an already-invented flavor element. We are a do-it-yourself type of business, and nuts simply don’t have a place on our farm or in our ice cream.

Nut-free ice cream has a plethora of other benefits besides allowing ice cream to live up to its delicious, pure potential. The most obvious is the simple fact that nut-free ice cream allows a large population of nut-allergic ice cream lovers to indulge in delicious, farm-to-cone ice cream, free of worry. Nut allergies are incredibly common, so as soon as nuts enter the picture, a lot of people are excluded. We strive to be an equal-access ice cream provider, regardless of allergy. And nothing makes us happier than telling a worried parent that their child can in fact enjoy a scoop (or two or three)! And we don’t stop at nut-free ice cream. We are committed to making sure the majority of our ice creams are gluten-free, and we are working on developing dairy-free flavors as well. ‘Cause with ice cream this good, we couldn’t leave anyone out.
